The Early Learning Alliance (ELA), together with UNT Health Science Center, published a report on the most important factors that help students succeed in Kindergarten and beyond. A survey of 100 local Kindergarten teachers and administrators across 11 school districts revealed that health and social-emotional factors ranked highest across seven key readiness domains including: 1) cognitive, 2) health and wellness, 3) language and communication, 4) literacy, 5) math, 6) physical, and 7) social-emotional.
